Packaging technologists design and produce packaging materials such as folding boxes, cartons, paper bags, corrugated cardboard, envelopes, and labels. To do this, they work with special machines, set them up, and monitor the production process.
During your training as a paper technologist, you will go through all phases of industrial paper production: from the preparation of the raw material wood and the recycling of waste paper, to the production of paper webs, to finishing and packaging.
